What is Mercy Beaucoup?

Mercy Beaucoup is a resale boutique located at 1545 N. Wells St. in Old Town that benefits Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. We carry men’s and women’s brand name and designer fashions at a fraction of retail prices.

What kinds of things can shopper expect to find there?

Shoppers will find men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, as well as some small décor items and kid’s clothing. Everything is in very good to perfect condition, and it’s all presented in a clean, well-organized boutique environment with a helpful and friendly staff. Part of our inventory is new with tags, including some which is donated by local stores.

What makes Mercy Beaucoup different than other resale stores?

What’s special about Mercy Beaucoup is that we carry consignment quality items, but our prices are more in line with thrift stores. There’s something for all ages and price points, and every purchase benefits the kids at Mercy Home.

What are the price points at Mercy Beaucoup?

Most items are around $10-30, but there’s really a range between $2-$200 or higher.

How often do you get new inventory?

We bring out new items weekly, and we do markdowns every few weeks to keep inventory fresh.

What brands can shoppers expect to see at Mercy Beaucoup?

We carry more mainline brands such as Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, J. Crew, and White House Black Market up to brands like Tory Burch, Burberry, Max Mara, and St. John.

How does someone donate items to Mercy Beaucoup?

To donate, bring the items to the store during our business hours. You can view the list of things accepted online, but everything should be in very good to perfect condition. Please bring the items in a bag that we can keep, because all items are currently being isolated before being put out for sale. A garbage bag is a great option!

How is Mercy Beaucoup keeping safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?

As previously mentioned, items that are brought in are isolated for two days before they are handled. Masks are required over the nose and mouth in the store, and that is strictly enforced. The dressing room is sanitized between use, and customers are also asked to social distance for everyone’s safety.

When are you open?

he store is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. We are closed Mondays.
